The Southern Maryland Art Convention is a one-day celebration of creativity, innovation and community in Calvert County. The event brings together artists, technology enthusiasts, and local residents to explore the intersection of STEAM, and culture.
Attendees can engage with hands-on STEM and robotics workstations, explore a marketplace featuring local and regional artisans and experience the annual Push Play Animated Film Festival, showcasing storytelling and artistic talent from around the world.
SMARTCON helps to promote STEAM education, strengthen community engagement and boost the local creative economy, highlighting the region as a hub for innovation and culture.
